As per the official AICTE JK Scholarship Latest News, PMSSS Registration 2023-2024 for J&K Students has been started. The engineering diploma student who belongs to the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and studying in academic session 2023-2024 is eligible to apply for the PMSSS 2024 scholarship scheme. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme. Students of J&K can make pmsss 2024 registration at official aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in website. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) starts registration process for Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) 2024.
PMSSS 2024 will help in capacity building to enable, educate and empower the youths of Jammu and Kashmir. Aspiring candidates can register online from the official website — aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in. All the students are requested to check the eligibility criteria for this aicte scholarship and apply online for PMSSS 2024 within the given time frame.
AICTE Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme 2024
Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) is a scholarship for youth of J&K. PMSSS 2024 is also known as AICTE JK Scholarship 2024 which is provided by Jammu & Kashmir Government to students who wants to study further. All India Council for Technical Education under the rules of Ministry of Education provides PMSSS Scholarship to eligible & needy candidates. All the selected candidates will get scholarship for academics fees and maintenance charges.
PM Special Scholarship Scheme Registration Last Date
The students are advised to register immediately and verify their documents and not wait for the last date. Online registration for the academic session 2023-2024 under PMSSS can be done on the official website, for lateral entry admission (second year). The lateral entry admission will be based on vacant seats available during the last academic year in engineering stream only.
The details on eligibility criteria, courses, and other important information are available on the official website. As per the AICTE’s notification, only the students who have passed a diploma from the Jammu and Kashmir board of technical education not earlier than 2020-21 can apply for the scholarship. The PMSSS 2022 scholarship scheme will provide students different amounts for the academic fee as well as the hostel fee.

STEP 1: Firstly visit the official website at https://www.aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in/
STEP 2: Click at “Diploma Registration” link to open AICTE JK PMSSS (Diploma) Registration Form will appear as shown below:-
STEP 3: Enter candidate name, father name, mother name, aadhar number, mobile number, e-mail ID, password, select year of passing, select family annual income, domicile status and click at “Register” button.
STEP 4: Then make login using e-mail or candidate ID, password and click “Login” button.

AICTE PMSSS Scholarship Amount for J&K Students
Under the PMSSS scholarship scheme, students will get financial aid of upto Rs 1.25 lakh per annum as an academic fee along with a maintenance allowance of Rs 1 lakh per annum in 10 equal instalments. PMSSS scholarship scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help students of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh to pursue undergraduate studies in colleges outside the union territories.

This is best effort by Indian govt for the progress of jand k students
But it is totally injustice with the open merit students because of having very low no seats for professional courses only 2800 while as it is above 4000 to 9000 for backward and physically disabled students
