Tamilnadu Public Distribution System (TNPDS) is converting all the ration cards in the state to smart cards. The online applications for smart ration cards are already being invited by the department through its official website at tnpds.gov.in. The status of the TNPDS smart card can be checked online on the same website by entering the reference number.
The reference number sent to the mobile number while registration can be used to check the status of Tamilnadu smart ration card.
Smart Card Status Tamilnadu
The status of your smart ration card application can be checked online by visiting the official website of Tamilnadu Public Distribution System at tnpds.gov.in. To know the application status, you need to enter the reference number which was sent to the mobile number of user while registration.
Below are the steps to check the status of smart ration card application
- Visit the official website of TNPDS at tnpds.gov.in
- Click on “ஸ்மார்ட் அட்டை விண்ணப்ப நிலை” link in the right sidebar of the website homepage or if you wish to use English language version, choose the “English” language from top right part of the website and click “Smart Card Application Status” link.
- On the next page, you will be shown a textbox field to enter your reference number, enter your ref. number in the textbox and click “Submit” button.
- Once you click the “Submit” button, the status of your smart card application would be shown to you.
