UPAVP to Build 5,000 Affordable Flats Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Uttar Pradesh Government is continuously working towards meeting the housing needs of the residents in the state through several housing scheme. Recently UP government invited online applications for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana through SUDA. The state government has also been running Samajwadi Awas Yojana to provide affordable housing to the poor.

Affordable Houses Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

The state government’s housing development board UPAVP or UPHDB is also planning to construct 5000 homes under the central government’s flagship Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. UPAVP would construct affordable homes for middle and lower income group next year.

In the first phase of the housing development project, UPAVP would construct 2500 flats. Applications for these flats under PM Awas Yojana should be invited before the new year. Under the first phase, 1,000 flats would be constructed in Awadh Vihar Yojna near Shaheed Path and 1,500 flats in Vrindavan Yojna on Rae Bareli road.

Cost of Flats
The cost of houses being offered under UPAVP PM Awas Yojana would be in the range of Rs. 8, 13 and 19 lakh. Depending upon the type of flat being offered, eligible beneficiaries would also get a subsidy of Rs. 1.65 Lakh to 2.5 Lakh.

PM Awas Yojana is a flagship affordable housing scheme of central government under which a target of 2 Crore homes till 2022 has been set by the government.

Application Mode

Applications for UPAVP PM Awas Yojana may be invited through online mode only. The online applications for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana may be invited through the official website of UPAVP only.
